designer levels
Our designers level of competency or creativity is not necessarily related to the years of experience he or she has. This is a common misconception. The training our team receives is aggressive, consistent, innovative and in-depth. It starts from the moment they are hired and continues through their entire career with us.
At Anasa Hair Studio, our service providers achieve promotions based on several factors. These factors include guest satisfaction, guest retention, performance, and education.
LEVEL 1- PROTÉGÉ DESIGNER
Protégé Designers have completed cosmetology school, are licensed cosmetologists in the state of California, and are completing our introductory new-hire training program. They are available to offer services once they pass their technical exam at our salon. They collaborate with elder stylists for every hair color consultation, to ensure the proper formulas and color placement patterns. When you schedule an appointment with a Protégé Designer, trust that they are all qualified, but will take a little bit longer to perform their service. Prices for Protégé Designers services are less than any other level due to this factor.
If you are someone who’s compassionate to help, get a great price, and grow with your Stylist, then an Protégé Designer may be the best fit for you!
LEVEL 2- HAIR DESIGNER
As Hairdressers transition out of the Protégé level, they become a Hair Designer. At this point, they’re building regular guests and pushing themselves to learn more, as they progress to the next level. Hair Designers are competent in performing hair cutting and hair coloring services, and are working on building more confidence as they perfect their skills. At this point it’s all about gaining more and more experience behind the chair; should they need assistance, they will not be afraid to work with our Team and ask another Hairdresser for input.
In order to allocate the proper amount of time, all first time guests booking a color service, must have a consultation PRIOR to scheduling an appointment, either in salon, or by clicking on New Clients button
LEVEL 3- SENIOR DESIGNER
Senior Designers are competent in performing hair cutting and hair coloring services, and are working on building more confidence as they perfect their skills. At this point it’s all about gaining more and more experience behind the chair, accompanied by more intense advanced education.
LEVEL 4- CREATIVE DESIGNER
Creative Designers have accumulated a great amount of experience behind the chair and are well equipped to offer more advanced solutions for hair color. They’re proficient in advanced hair cutting techniques that are custom to each individual they work with. They know hairdressing inside and out, from the essentials to ever-changing trends.They are problem solvers and are especially equipped to take on large color changes and color correction challenges.
LEVEL 5- EXECUTIVE DESIGNER
Executive Designers are the elite in their craft and have the largest demand for their time behind the chair. They’ve put in the time, energy, and education necessary to earn their title. They are phenomenal communicators who are going to deliver advanced hair cutting and coloring techniques that are custom to each guest. They’re exceptional professionals who inspire their teammates, and empower their guests to embrace their authenticity!
LEVEL 6- ARTISTIC DESIGNER
Artistic Designers are specialists in all of Anasa Hair Studio’s Principles, and are the educators that develop and train Protege Designers. Their services are in demand, they book out several weeks in advance. At this point, there won’t be many hair cutting or hair coloring challenges they haven’t faced. This level is also responsible for certifying our specialists and also organizing all continuing education.
